That changes what works. Lawns in dry shade need the right seed mix and a higher cut. Borders do far better with chalk tolerant planting than with the acid lovers on the front row at the garden centre. We pick plants that will still look good in five years, not just on planting day.

Because so many gardens here slope, a lot of our Wendover work is hard landscaping. Retaining walls, terraced beds, steps and level patios that turn an awkward bank into somewhere you can actually sit. We build them with the drainage designed in so they stay put.
