Garden Maintenance in Aylesbury

Some gardens want us every week. Some every fortnight, some once a month, and some just want the place knocked back into shape and then left alone for a while. All of those are fine.

A weekly round means nothing gets out of hand. The grass is cut before it starts looking long, hedges get trimmed little and often instead of one hard cut a year, and weeds come out while they are still small. Most gardens round here want that from March to October, then fortnightly or monthly through the winter.

If fortnightly would do, we will say so. We would rather quote you for what the garden actually needs than sell you a visit you do not want.

Plenty of gardens start as a one-off. Something that has got away from someone over a summer, a tidy before the house goes on the market, or a clear-out after a wet winter. There is no obligation to book anything regular afterwards, and if you do want us back we can sort that out once the garden is straight.

Holidays are the other one. If you are away, we can keep an eye on things, water the pots and keep the place presentable until you are home.

If we spot something worth doing, we will mention it. No pressure either way.

Cutting grass and looking after a garden are not the same job. I trained in horticulture at BCA and did an apprenticeship before starting JW Garden Services in 2017, so shrubs and roses get pruned at the right time of year. That means healthier plants and a lot more flower the next summer.

We are members of The Gardeners Guild, and we turn up with our own tools, so there is nothing for you to dig out of the shed.
